Alexander, how do you want to arrange this shipping?
maybe we should use a message service rather than posting here. Charly

I'll go which ever way you'd like. Did the Austins have a clock in the dashboard? I'd like to put one in the hole if possible. I have one from a XJ6, but its to big.

Alexander, The door latch I need is a LH side(drivers side in the USA). I would like to at least have the chrome pieces from the grab handle, but will buy it complete if you like. I'm also looking for a dashboard clock if you have one or know of one anywhere. I would be interested in a new door latch if you'd like to let go of it. Let me know how to proceed from here for posting and payment.

I would buy this if I could get it shipped to the USA. I think I may try to get one made, I have an extra motor we could shape it to.

What color were the undersides of the 1800's? Mine was black and I cleaned it and repainted it black. Were they body color under?

I'm in the North West, about 30 miles south of Seattle. Tacoma WA. I don't want to trouble anyone, I could gladly pay you for shipping if that is easier.

Did you ever check your stack of spares for the parts needed?

I picked up a door lock, but it's the rear door with a child lock on it and would prefer for safety reasons, to have the proper front lock. Let me know what you need for the parts. Thanks

I found a couple of grab bars, but I'm missing one of the chrome covers on the end. Does anyone have one I could get? I'll gladly pay for shipping and whatever you'd want for it.

I would agree with not seeing me race that one. The Austin 1800 of Aaron was out in the LeMons race again this year and I'll try to find some pictures if he hasn't posted any yet.
Wow, what a late responses, funny how time flies when you're having fun.

I have no problem with shipping for them as they couldn't be that much. I also have just realized my drivers door latch is non functional. It wasn't unlocking and I discovered it had been modified and all bent to make work. I disassembled it and found screws in it instead of rivets. I'm going to trey to repair it but I think I need a replacement part for it. Anyone have a left side door latch? I believe I can make a rear door latch work as well. This is the right side for reference

I'm in need of a pair of hand grab rails that mount above the door on either side of the rear doors. I need the grab pieces as well as the mounting plinthes and screws. Please ley me know of any sources or if anyone has some they'd like to part with.

Thanks, I may do that. I've done it on my TR6 and Austin America. And while were talking about painting black, I always paint the inside of the door at the bottom up about 2-3 inches with POR15 paint. The paint actually penetrates into the hem at the bottom of the door and protects it very well. It's a little messy, but worth it.
