Their prices seem quite reasonable and there's some interesting stock - when did you last see a Talbot Horizon? Chris. Drove a Horizon where the seatbelts were so sensitive to locking that it took a couple of minutes get them on! Gearchange was a challenge too, similar to badly adjusted Landcrab cable change!

I think the track rod ends are same as the MGB so should be easy to get?

Legend has it that the CV joints were used on Lotus Formula 1 cars too? This photographic rebuild is fantastic, wish I had 1% of the skills your father has Tony!
By the way, if some Jaguar parts that will fit the Landcrab please do let Tony Wood know. That kind of information is really useful as the old stocks of parts begin to run out.

Agreed, I wonder why they didn't change the lights on the Wolseley version, perhaps there was little financial benefit to be had in it. -Andrew You would have thought there would have been economies of scale to be had from making the rear end all the same. Maybe it's because on the Wolseley the so-called "cows hips" styling is less pronounced because of the design of the rear lights, so no need to restyle.

David, I'm the other way around, I think the Wolseley front end looks great on the 6/110, but the Austin/Morris suits the 'crab more. -Andrew I always reckoned the Wolseley front with A/M 1800 Mk2 rear fins would have looked good...

SHOW REPORT
40th Cheshire Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, Capesthorne Hall, CheshireThree Landcrabs flew the LOCI flag at this event. Present were Dave Stretton with his Morris Mk.3, Chris Ledger with his Austin Mk.1 and Tony Wood with the newer of his two Mk.1 Austins. Also there was Carl Brindley who was suffering from ignition problems with his Wolseley, so his VW camper van substituted for the day, and John Watson who rode shotgun with Dave Stretton from, and back to, Barnsley. A big variety of cars at Capesthorne - nice show! Thanks to John Watson for the report and pictures.

LOCI AUTUMN RALLY - NORTH @ Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton le Hole, near Pickering, North YorkshireNow in its 21st year, our Autumn Rally is always a smashing do in great countryside. Once again it's a multi-club event in association - 63 cars attended in 2013 - with the Morris Minor Owners Club's Yorvik branch. We usually muster a contingent of around a dozen cars and the spares secretary attends so it's a good chance to arrange for him to bring vital spares if requested. Entry form below which goes direct to the Yorvik MMOC - don't forget to send an SAE for your pass to be posted out. Info on Ryedale Folk Museum here
