That will be from forum member Sherpa. He's not been on for quite a while. Wonder if he finished his restoration?

OK! Hope he's still a Landcrab enthusiast and finished the restoration. Perhaps I can persuade him to ship the lump to Norway?

I'm now the happy owner of this engine ;D
Had pleasant communication with Sherpa yesterday, and he was willing to sell overseas to a forum member. I will have to make arrangements to have it collected and transported to Norway. I've checked some possibilities already through shiply.com, and it's no problem really. Luckily, Sherpa is willing to store it until I've found a solution.
If anyone have any suggestions to transport, I'd love to hear from you. It will have to be taken to a harbour I guess, and there is frequent sea freight from UK to Norway. I'll contact Norwegian shipping agents tomorrow.
Very pleased with this. Seriously I could row across the Noth Sea to get a more or less complete, low mileage power plant like this. I'll fit it to the blue one or keep it as spare.
Regards, Tommy

Hi tommy/Chris
Yep it was the engine out of the Persian blue mk2 I used for parts, another local car.
I've not been on much cos been a bit busy for the last few months, started a van sales company alongside my normal job and have had no spare time at all. I've been a bit skint too hence the sale of items like this and as a consequence the crab restoration has gone slightly 'tits up'.
Got it more or less together (thanks Chris) and running very nicely, interior in and it's ground to a halt and have had to leave it outside for a few weeks now due to space issues. I've been wanting to just get someone to finish it for me as it only needs a few days work to finish but I'll see what happens. Need that motivation back that sometimes wanes at different parts of the resto!
I'll announce here when it's sorted out.

Nice to hear from you.
If you fancy a Sunday "at it", just say - might be able to round up a few more bods now that the forum is a bit older.
Meant to contact you anyway to see if the parts car was still there - I'm interested in acquiring enough gubbins to put the handbrake back under the dashboard on mine.
Chris.
