I saved this car in 2002/ 3 and put it back on the road. It had no rust and didn't need much work really. The present owner has resprayed it it seems. This mk 1 had once been upgraded to an S. Twin HS 6 carbs etc. Wonder why the advance pipe is not attached? It pulled like a train. When I sold it, it had become a brilliant car, though had the oil light flicker described in an earlier post. I only sold it to finance the resto of my present one. Perhaps it would have been wiser to stick to this one:-) Oh no, I can't say that.. Good looking car, Tommy.
It's about £2,700 in English - seems like a good buy to me.
Chris.

Taking out the advance pipe is a quick way of stopping pinking but a good way to destroy fuel economy. Maybe you should buy it now, you are clearly looking closely at the photos to spot the pipe, after all you don't have much to do now regards David
