I feel that I must post here today to warn everyone of the dangers of your workshop. A tool in the wrong place can make you end up looking a complete plonker.

I will get you, Mark!
Slitting disc in angle grinder shattered. Fortunately I was wearing my safety glasses, so a scratch on my nose was the only damage.
Take safety seriously - this could have been quite nasty.
Chris.

Can echo those comments
Family garage, not that many years ago, were having a purge on use of H&S equipment. One staff member was very reluctant to wear goggles. One day he was TOLD to wear them - and 5 minutes later cutting disk in angle grinder shattered. Goggles saved his eyes, but there was serious damage to the side of his head. He was off work for weeks.
Sadly (thankfully?) I am now too frail and doddery to use any form of power tool - much to the relief of Rach and my son!
Hope that heals quickly Chris
