Hi,
Another newbie, living on Tyneside.
Had my landcrab for 9 years and am a member of LOCI.. Car actually won best Morris at the first national show I took her to (mind you, there were only 2 Morris entered that year) but hey, I still have the engraved tankard
Having taken her to a local body shop 2 years ago, only to find the sprayer was Blind Pugh, I have spent the last 4 months with heat gun and sander trying to get her back to bare metal. I hired a spray bay in a local garage (can go whenever I need to) and am gradually building up the paint. I am disabled and can only do about 2 hours work a day (followed by several days rest) so it has taken a very long time.
She is used as my daily transport (can't be doing with this modern rubbish where main dealer charges £100 just for a diagnostic printout)

Hi Peppib,
Good looking car. Always a shame when things don't quite work out - hope you get her sorted soon and look forward to reading some updates.
Chris.

Thanks Chris and Nick
Will post a photo of my handiwork when the paint is finished AND I have replaced the 'chrome' strips around the front and rear windows. I do have the tool somewhere, but it is 9 years since I last used it

Welcome aboard!
Great looking 1800! I'm glad to hear you sorted the wiring issues. I also use my 1800s as daily transport, at least until the dreaded salt is all over the roads in winter:-)
Regards, Tommy
