I'd been promising myself a trip here for a while. When our public holiday Monday presented a day of rain I took myself off. It's full of mostly ordinary cars that you rarely see these days. Worth a detour if you are in this part of the world. Here are a few pics. It's all fairly crammed in and a few of the cars would need some work to get going again. There was a leak into the roof that was letting the rain fall onto the green Royale coupe behind the gate Austin 16 (or 12?) shares space with a Jag, Citroen and a late Alvis Metro VDP[/url] by Old Longbridge, on FlickrAre friends electric? The Metro was in excellent condition FE Victor squares up to some stylish vehicles from the past. Riley, Armstrong Siddeley, Wolseley 15/50 Rare Morris 2200 was the only Landcrab representitive Generally presentable but it would need a bit of work where the offside front wing, bumper section and valence meet. I cannot remember when I last saw a Peugeot 104. I don't even recall even seeing one at a car show. This one has some Dafs for company Older selection of Peugeot, Humber (I think), two Jowetts and a Ford The number plate and the motorbikes show you how small this curious, fibreglass, motorised death-trap is. Not everything is identified in the museum and I actually think that is part of the charm. Austin Ambassador A-reg A-reg.... All in all an atmospheric way to pass an hour or two. If Chris went I think the temptation to poke at rust holes would be too much. Nick

Sadly this museum will close at Easter. A large quantity of the vehicles (if not all) will be sold at auction in June.
