Well done, Andrew!
Morris badge on an Austin grille.. I'm not able to see the bonnet badge..
A bit strange. The movie is from 1980. Perhaps it's had an accident and been repaired with whatever they had available?

Isn't this the 1800 that featured in the UK TV series "Life on Mars" ? It looks like it's being driven by an alien. (Sorry Tommy I guess you didn't get the programme in Norway)

Check out the number plate on the bus, about as wrong as it's possible to get.

Yup, sure looks like an alien:-) I guess a crab was the perfect choice for space ship comfort and reliability:-) Even the wipers work! We had "Life on Mars" here too. Watched it with great interest and spotted lots of nice cars, including a crab. There are lots of cool shots of crabs and all other cars on www.imcdb.org. Movie car database. Here are some crabs from Norwegian movies: Tommy

If I recall correctly the Landcrab that is parked in the street in the first episode of Life on Mars is the 1800S that now belongs to Bullyboy of this parish.
Last week I caught an episode of the Professionals called Blind Run. Bodie & Doyle have to escort a VIP into London and use a Mk1 Morris 1800 instead of the usual Fords, worth watching the first 15 minutes if it comes your way. PPK156E probably didn't survive the making of that programme.

One of my friends back home sends me DVDs of UK TV programmes (mainly oldies) and I've spotted a number of Landcrabs in "The Likely Lads" and the successor "Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads". "Heartbeat" opening shots featured the crab owned by Nina (from the Yorkshire LOCI). I will see if I can read any of the number plates from the Likely Lads series to see if they are still around.
