You may be interested to see that a New Zealander, Jim Gregory, has expressed an interest in entering a Mk11 1800 in this rally next year. Does anyone know any more details, maybe Andrew knows him? I understand that quarantine restrictions in Oz make it much easier to run the reverse of the direction of the original 1968 rally and that the route has had to be modified for obvious reasons. I've now found Jim Gregory's Facebook albums. Even if you're not interested in Rally cars the photos may help with future bodywork repairs. Note the adjustable tie rods - Nick you may be able to lighten your steering by backing off the castor! Andrew have you ever contacted this guy he is there in New Zealand somewhere. Hey David, can't say I know the man. But very interesting!
I can't see if he's near by to myself, as I'd be very keen to take a look at his rally car

Not sure where he is. I had heard he was from Auckland but see he is a member of the Hawkes Bay car club, but that could mean anything. Do you have a Facebook account, I see someone has already posted that this forum is showing an interest. He would be an interesting contributor to this forum if you could persuade him David Hey David, can't say I know the man. But very interesting! I don't use Facebook either but looking at the entrants today I would guess that he probably failed to get sufficient sponsorship which was his concern. If so such a shame after all the work. Andrew, did you ever track him down I wonder? David I don't have facebook so I used my wife's account to make that post telling him of the forum. Hopefully he sees it Andrew
