Maybe the original rotted, but hardly practical really and why not fit vertically like in a Mini? Tank in boot? Weird...... Chris.

One owner car in Dundee £400. Crying out for a photo but may be worth a look if you are in central Scotland. Nick Here

Strangely enough, that's going to be quite a rare car - late for an 1800, it's becoming tax exempt this time round (It's likely to increase in value a a bit) and it's in everyone's favourite colour; Harvest Gold. Or Beige.
£500 (£400 seems to be in relation to displacers).
Good spot, Nick.
Chris.

1976 Maxi, don't see many around this vintage. Could be worth it for the spares alone. Here

Trouble is, I never think I have anything intelligent to say Working on Mrs Faulks, who I fear has found a kindred approach to MrsSocks....

Hi again, at last! I work on the basis that no observation is too stupid, as you may have guessed from some of my posts. A broad range of comments is helpful to new owners and old hands alike there is always another way of looking at things. Now just be brave and encourage Mrs Faulks! I don't suggest showing her the section on rust, it gives me nightmares! Regards David Trouble is, I never think I have anything intelligent to say Working on Mrs Faulks, who I fear has found a kindred approach to MrsSocks....

You're right, Mrs Socks put her foot down. I tried my best but even I couldnt come up with a convincing argument to own three crabs, plus two 1300's, a tractor and six motorbikes..... Thanks for the comment on the price too, I really dont want to sell it, and its doing sterling service as my daily driver while my supposedly reliable modern car is up on axle stands again! I shan't be too upset if no-one buys it, although have just spied a rather nive looking ERF LV truck on ebay, and its just down the road from me.... Cheers! Rich

One that needs a bit of work. Seller hasn't put a price on it. HereAlso this one has come down a little, now at £1800 and surely worth a go. when I was at Longbridge last week I got talking to a man who had enquired after this one. Seemed the owner might be prepared to help out with getting it over from Northern Ireland. Here
