Hi Peter If you're really desperate there is another advertised in the Netherlands so you wouldn't have to pay import duties within the EU. I could import it to Denmark, but that would add another £270 for postage and taxes. Peter

It looks good. There must be something about this colour that preserves crabs, there seem to be a disproportionate number of them around. I thought it came in later than 1971? The green carpet is something I don't recall seeing before.

Seemingly you could have an almond green carpet with a Connaught Green MkI. Nothing for MkIIs or IIIs.

Here's a smart Morris MkIII in Birkenhead. On CAR AND CLASSICBirkCrab by Penguin 45, on Flickr BirkCrab by Penguin 45, on Flickr BirkCrab by Penguin 45, on Flickr Looks decent value at £4,500. Also, interesting to see the differences in the power steering/alternator/thermostat area, compared with the MkI and MkII cars. We couldn't find a similar picture when we did the alternator articles. Chris.

1970 Wolseley 18/85 in Waterlooville, Hants. On eBay HERE. Waterlooville Crab by Penguin 45, on Flickr Waterlooville Crab by Penguin 45, on Flickr Waterlooville Crab by Penguin 45, on Flickr Waterlooville Crab by Penguin 45, on Flickr Wrong colour and one horrible wheel arch, otherwise not too bad. There's the makings of a nice car there with some work. I'd be tempted (If allowed), but not really a fan of autos. Currently at £1500.Heard from my friend that this sold to someone in Doncaster who was looking to restore it. He thinks it actually went for £1800 in the end and hopes the buyer knows what he is taking on. I wonder if he gave the buyer a copy of my report......Still it was his brother-in-laws car. Do hope the restoration is successful though.

It would be interesting if it popped up on here with its new owner and we could see how things developed. Sadly, so many join, so many read, so many say nothing.

- yes it does seem to be going through a particularly quiet phase at the moment....

Winter is always a bit quiet. You'll have to get a Crab again and keep us entertained! Did you ever try and track down where your car ended up, I had hoped to see it on here again.

No contact and no interest in tracing to be honest. On the other point perhaps should see it as credit to "The Forum" that most of the answers to the most common problems are already on here (so no need to ask a question that's already been answered) - or people aren't hanging onto cars for too long and don't want to publicise the cars issues if they're moving it on!!
