Be nice to see under the bonnet on the second rally job. Like the pop bottle for the washers on the maroon one!

Trouble is - once you see it, you can't not see it! This one's been up before - about 18 months back? Same seller in Faversham. eBay. FavCrab1 by Penguin 45, on Flickr FavCrab2 by Penguin 45, on Flickr FavCrab3 by Penguin 45, on Flickr £3800 of broken Osselli engine. FavCrab4 by Penguin 45, on Flickr Not sure what to make of that. Expensive, broken, Stage 2 engine on an autobox seems an odd combo. Gorgeous MkI interior. Nasty sill repair required. Generally tired and scruffy. Cheap-ish. Project for someone. Chris.

Mmm. Interior not bad. Better then mine, but I did 100k with four kids in it and a Sprite Major on the back ! Once you start poking that rust though. As you say, I would agree a good project with what appear good bones. I would budget for both sill reconstructions at minimum.

I do rather like that but the worry is the amount of rust that will need to be dealt with. From my limited previous experience, I would suspect floor panels and inner sills on top of what can be seen.
I imagine the engine problem is not too much of a headache. With the wealth of knowledge her.

True, but for what that went for I think the 18/85 could be brought up to standard.
Will need major repairs to the NS sill and the engine. It just depends upon what else. the interior looks pretty sound even the woodwork. as with so many cars of this era, what lies beneath. Is the underside solid?

Rather like this one as well. Why are they all so far away?

Well I do know someone in the Goole area and would like to visit them when the situation allows but still quite a hike. I think ebay is teasing me with three of interest in quick succession that I cannot get to view.

Blue one appears to have fuse box behind battery.

The Auto sold for £4,860 inc premium, the result for the other is still unclear. AutoDavid
