Hi Chris Reading up on E10 (and beyond) it looks as though you may have to possibly change the SU needle(s) for a richer version and ----- change the timing! More good fun ahead Regards David

Interesting where it's all heading. I already have a high quality after-market electric fuel pump on the car and the carbs run AAA needles to cope with the increased flow from the K&N air filters. I suppose the only "exposed" bits of rubber are a few inches of hose out of the petrol tank to the fuel pipe (cunifer) and a couple of inches at the other end up to the carbs. Might buy a couple of feet of silicone stuff and replace them on the belt and braces principle.
As for timing, I suppose we have to wait until we have no choice but to buy a tank of the stuff and see what happens. I do already know that the car doesn't like unleaded Super.
Chris.
