Looks a lot like the one we used to own, blue with gray interior, 87 series III. Very fine car, a bit old fashioned though. A nice cruiser. Next to my racer

lol hmmm I wonder who. Sadly, with my time commitments, she'd only get worse under my ownership!
Very tidy looking car though and for $4000, I think it's realistically priced, but that's my humble opinion.

Good heavens. If that was over here, people would probably be fighting over it. If it's as described, it's a remarkable survivor.

I was watching a car repair channel on Youtube and they noted that on a Jaguar (not sure of the precise model) that to change the fuel pump it was necessary to drop the rear subframe. They didn't quote a price but I guess you could buy quite a nice car for the same cost. There's a good reason they are cheap second hand; sad they're really nice when they are running. David

It's a good looking car. Still, I'd have thought that that was a pretty reasonable price compared with some of the prices popping up over here.

Oh she's a very tidy looking car, for sure.
Perhaps they're becoming more popular/people are starting to see them in a different light, who knows.

I think it's good news for you financially. It means that should you ever decide to sell - heaven forbid - then you will probably recover your costs, or more, as well as having the enjoyment of ownership. That make it easier to justify to yourself and family the spending on the car to keep it in top condition. regards David Oh she's a very tidy looking car, for sure. This is true.
I have her listed in the Wolseley Word for $3500 ono, which I think is a fair reflection on the condition of the car and the work I have put into it.
Given the price this one has sold for, I'm less inclined to accept a low offer and if I can't sell it for a 'fair' price, I'll keep her. I have no intention of giving her away.
