Cheers Nick, I have spotted that one in the past. I might actually get off my bottom and flick him an email and see what's left and how much he wants for them.
Hopefully he has a good rear bumper as mine is a bit rusty.
It's only around an hours drive from where I am _b

Agreed.
Rover P6s seem to be undervalued. Am I missing something? I don't think they are nightmare money pits or anything like that are they?

I'm with you there, looks like a very tidy car for $4000. I guess people perceive them as gas guzzlers (which is true, to be fair lol) so won't bother with them. Also perhaps that people down here would rather have a Ford or Holden, if they were going to buy a V8.
Also looks like the spares situation is good for them too. I would be tempted to convert it to a 5 Speed manual (perhaps from a Toyota etc) to help improve the MPG and also make it a little more fun to drive.

Now that is a nice, sensible family car. Got the 2L engine, so plenty of power, VdP spec, so nice interior and auto, so would suit MrsIndy nicely. Good price as well. Chris.

Yup, yup and yup. If I didn't own a 600 I'd be keen (her not so much lol). I hope she goes to a nice home, as it looks very tidy.
Still keeping my eyes open for a possible second classic (or modern classic), just need to sell my kidneys or kids lol.

Too damn high? lol
$2.04 (.86 GBP) per litre at the moment, for RON 91.
Clearly not an everyday car!

Is it a XJ-6 Serie One? It is in very good condition, isn't it? I have worked on that kind of vehicle once, changing the clutch set of manual gear box, rebuilding fuel injection system wiring. Regards Tony
