Mk1 door card removal

Hi all,
I've decided to get some bodywork (door bottoms) professionally repaired on my mk1.

I need to remove the door cards.
The manual refers to "insert a flat blade behind the escutcheon of the remote door handle and remove the spring clip" No picture.

What exactly am I looking for here? Has anyone got a picture of said clip please?
I don't want to go forcing and blindly busting something.

I'm sure I'll find a way. I'm pretty sure I took the cards off my old MK1 but can't remember how I got the mk1 door handle out. Jeff

Decided against repairs. Body man says its better to replace with decent doors. Although repainting them won't be cheap, far better to source decent doors and protect. Thanks guys.
