For those people who are no longer members of the loci club & therefore not upto date with recent events within the club. Recently the Northern consortium have delved into their own pockets at great expense to themselves & not the club to secure the purchase of much needed parts to keep our beloved cars on the road for many years to come. A recent parts discovery way down South from a closed down garage was offered FOR SALE to the Northern consortium, which resulted in the purchase of some very scarce & much needed genuine parts. This rare haul of parts included genuine bump stop rubbers( Tony Wood now has enough to last a lifetime), original radiator grommets & a whole load of other obsolete parts which were recently listed in the last 2 editions of the club magazine(members would have been privy to this information). Tony solved the issue of the bump stops & engine mountings many years ago with club member Paul Cope remaking them for Tony. Another rare find was the "Z" rubbers used for holding up the centre section of the exhaust system, new air boxes complete with filter & fixing bolt. Bumper fixing bolts unique to the landcrab are now in plentiful supply. Front exhaust pipes are plentiful & at a reasonable price, front door skins & o/side complete rear wings for the MK 2/3 1800 & 2200 cars. Tony Wood now has a limited stock of front valances. If you own a LANDCRAB then holding some of these spares within your own personal stocks is my recommendation, give Tony a ring he may just have what you need.
