Just replaced a front displacer that gave up as I was pumping up the suspension, but apart from that and loads of surface rust where stone chips etc. have let the moisture under the paint.......

That looks very similar to how the ADO17 is set up - are the Maxi displacers in something like that barrel structure on the ADO17? I've never been able to get my hands on a Maxi to have a look..

The Maxi has a front subframe and the displacers are mounted across the back of the engine in this frame. The replacement displacer was from an ADO16 and I just swapped the endcup over from the failed Maxi unit. ADO17 owners will know that the ADO16 front displacer is the same as the ADO17 rear, but I was unaware that the ADO16 front is basically the same as the ADO14 front.
