Hi Chris but would you go to all that effort whilst viewing the car before buying it? I would be worried about snapping the bolts

im hoping to be looking at a wolseley soon for sale I understand the rust areas are wheel arches, in the boot, floors, sills, bottom of doors, rear corners, inner wings, wings,
How do I check the rear subframe other than go underneath are they like on the ado16 were you can lift the back seat up and check the rear heelboard?
happy new year

Hi All
whilst I have been looking at a lot of Wolseley 18/85 on the internet for sale I do notice on some they have the Austin style wood door clappings rather than the Wolseley
my question is if you have the Austin style door clapping (small/thin) can they be changed to the right wood clapping if you can get hold of any?

It'll take being Shutzed or undersealed over (which is the intention) but I wouldn't use it as a base coat with a view to using any sort of body colour. None of the use shown in the previous work will be visible, which is why I used it. But - tough stuff for keeping the rust out. Chris. Is Shutzing any good I have heard off some people who don't really think it's that good plus it dries out also?

When you have applied VTP top coat can you paint the car the body colour you want?

Merry Christmas everyone. Here are a few cars to identify if you find yourself at a lose end over the next couple of days. I am not sure how hard I have pitched this, some of them look very obvious. All I'll say is that not all are what they might at first appear. Pictures taken from the internet so variable quality. I've gone for British marques and have included Ford and Vauxhall, not every car will have been built in Britain though. Make and Model please, extra Kudos for accuracy Perhaps you could hold off posting up any answers until 26th Dec. Nick CAR 1 Triumph Toledo CAR 2 Vauxhall Carlton CAR 3 Ford Concol Granada mk1 CAR 4 CAR 5 TVR CAR 6 Morris Oxford Van CAR 7 Bedford CA CAR 8 Humber Scepter CAR 9 MGC CAR 10 Daimler 2.5 V8 post 1967 CAR 11 Wolseley 14 CAR 12 Armstrong Siddley CAR 13 Austin Kimberley CAR 14 Austin Princess CAR 15 Wolseley 1000
