Hardly mega miles for a near 40 year old car... No, but enough for wear to be more of a factor than failure.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to try and stick with Reckless' original fittings. I'll take some photos in the morning, so you can see what's fitted and what I'm planning.

I'll take the forum set-up every time - much easier to follow that the notice board type. I agree, but I think the Google Group has it's place.

Kent and Surrey meet. Early 80s I think. I'm no good at dates so have asked friends son to remind me. Edit: Peter writes : Photograph was taken on Easter Monday, 18 April, 1983 at Foxbury Sports Ground, Chislehurst. It was a joint A35/A40 Rally if we remember rightly. Thanks Paul!

If you'd like to PM me with a cost, I'll organise some pennies for you. Won't cost you a penny Chris. Just a case of another meet or relaying them to you. Three are still on the doors ATM, but I want to replace the 18/85 trims with Reckless' old ones. Are you aware of the extra metal welded on the doors? Might try and drill these off so you can have them as well, if you want?

I wonder if they were fitted to anything else? I think Steve (not sure if you know him or not Richard?) looked into this for his Police Crab. :

I will post pictures when my camera decides to work. Don't forget to fill in the location part of your profile and/or mention roughly where in the world you are so folk get an idea of if you will be collecting or if they have to post parts.
