Chris, You seem to find the good ones, nice story behind it from reading the article in LOCI last week. My plea would be to keep the reflective plates rather than go silver on black, very period.

Pics - easiest way is through a hosting site - Photobucket, Flickr etc. They size them for you and you just copy and paste a link. The site will host them up to 2Mb each, but it eats up our storage. I can copy them and re-post from my own Photbucket account if you don't mind. Or stick 'em on a memory stick and bring them to the Mining Museum in April and I'll sort them for you.
