Hi all,
I've just been introduced to this forum by its esteemed founder, Richard.
Anyway, I've made it known in a couple of places already, and may already have found one, though I don't know yet if it'll be for sale. Nevertheless, because chances are it isn't for sale, here's my wanted ad;
I'm looking for either a Wolseley 18/85 Automatic, a Morris 1800 S Manual, or the best of both worlds in a Wolseley 18/85 S (for which I don't mind which transmission it is). Sadly I can't afford the insurance on a Six/2200.
I know I'm being fairly specific, and that beggars can't be choosers, but having made a hasty purchase in the past and then been unhappy with it, I've decided now that I'm happy to wait around for the right car to come up, even if that takes a few months.
As far as condition goes, I don't want anything in any way rotten or requiring work, as I don't really have a workspace or the tooling necessary at home. It is particularly important to me to find something with a good interior. I would be willing to buy something needing a respray, provided the price is adjusted accordingly.
Many thanks, Ed
*Is it me, or were there a lot more Landcrabs for sale a couple of years back?

Hi Ed, Welcome aboard. Nice cars come up from time to time, but patience is required. We pick up most sales in the "UK Sales" thread in this part of the forum, but remember to keep checking on landcrab.net/ in the Crabmart section regularly. Forum member "Tripplescrew" runs the Crabmart section for LOCI and has been known to turn out the occasional very fine 'Crab for sale as well. Not sure what he's working on at the moment. Sales do seem to be rather seasonal - plenty seem to pop up around Autumn time, then quieten off again. Feel free to join in, any and all comments are welcome. Regards, Chris.
