Sometimes I really wonder if Scandinavian owners ever sent their 1800s to the breaker. They turn up from nowhere from time to time.. Here are some for sale in the Swedish city of Østersund. (Ø is OE, we also have Æ= AE and Å=AA) And they're only a couple of hours drive from me... Regards, Tommy www.blocket.se/jamtland/Bmc_1800_50455396.htm?ca=3&w=3

Tommy's going to nip over the border soon - I just know it!
The grey one in the first advert has to be worth doing.
Chris.

Tommy's going to nip over the border soon - I just know it! The grey one in the first advert has to be worth doing. Chris. It is tempting! But I'm still keen to focus on the two I've got, rather than getting another project. Then again, typically, they turn up at this time of year when crossing those mountains with a car on a trailer could be far from a nice Sunday trip.. I will contact him though, to see if he sells parts separately. Both my driver's seats have splits and the white one could do with some better door cards etc. The ad is not very informative, as it says "easy project, spare engine, various spares and doors". It does not mention the three different cars. I agree, the antelope (?) one looks promising, even though he has obviously lost its rear badge:-) These cars will most likely have little rust as the region has a very dry climate and they use heated sand rather than salt on the roads. I'll dream of them all the way to the kitchen! Luckily we're seeing the end of the IKEA mountain of cardboard boxes! Regards, Tommy
