ClassicCarsForsSale is a pain as many of the ads look to have been published for some time, which is strange as they advertise many top-end motors and the site is otherwise pretty well regarded. CarAndClassic in comparison is tidy with their automatic time-expiry of ads. Still, any of these current 'live' ads might be worth a call. At the very least this post is a record of the asking price history and condition of a surviving car the club might not have registered...
Goodness. They are popping up all over the place. I have said a few times that overall prices are rising, with good cars showing some real value. Perhaps they have reached a point where more owners are prepared to sell.
We do have the usual forum problems in that we have a reasonable number of members, but few posters, so outside that group it's difficult to know who owns (or sells or buys) what.
HMV 686N that was for sale this time last year at a dealer in Tamworth (a few pages back of this thread) for £2,795 has resurfaced, again for sale but now in Aberdeen. On eBay complete with a recent interior refurb bill for £4,070 !
Reached top bid of £2,200 [4 bids] not meeting reserve, since re-advertised with better photos at £4000.
