This one is getting more realistic at £9,000. Makes the others look a bit silly. HereNick

Yup, I think she's had her days! Hopefully there are some salvageable parts from her for the rest of the fleet -Andrew

The ute/van has popped up on eBay - HERE. I really don't think the alloys suit it. Otherwise it is a lovely thing. Chris.

Agreed, get it on some stock wheels or minilites and it'll look a lot better.

Definitely needs different wheels. I've seen this a couple of times at events and it is in superb order. Having said that £25K is a lot of money which will limit the pool of buyers quite a lot. Still, you never know - it is quite special.

The Wolseley wreck has been relisted again on eBay Here with a start of £200. The only reasons that you might take a punt is that your salvage would include an original brake servo, PAS equipment and displacers any or all of which could be beyond use. It's possible that the seats could be reused but not a lot else. Nick

OK, so the first of the rally cars has gone. The Beauty Box got £17,500 against a pre-sale estimate of £20-25K. For that I think the new owner gets a nicely sorted rally car with history. The £1,000,000 car comes next, there was an article and drive report on it in last week's Classic Car Weekly. I think it will fetch more than £17.5K Follow the link to the auction result and spot a few bargains. There was some good value Jaguar XJs in there - Mr I Jones...... Here. I think if the car is showing the estimate range rather than a sale price then it didn't sell in the auction and is still available. Nick

Some odd results there. £8K for a Marina pickup. The JU250 was very cheap and the Fiat 130 must have been an absolute steal. Over £10k for a Mini van is quite frightening though.

Looks as though the MGB GT is one of the best bargains nowadays. A Mini pickup here in Thailand fetches around £20,000 and they are quite plentiful. There are 3 that I know of within 5 miles of where I live.

Interesting colour choice for the restoration of this one. HereNick It's re-appeared on eBay - HERE. Now in the hands of a dealer. His text makes interesting reading! Even the pros get caught out sometimes. Chris.

Interesting, I've not seen that before. What it says to me is that this is a Dealer who values their reputation above making a few quid on something when they get it wrong. Wonder what's going to become of the car?

It went for £1850 last time, so he's taking a hit on it. Yes, quite refreshing to read an honest advert, but is it really worth £950 for a partially restored car in a non standard colour that need welding, paint rectification and the engine pulling to work on the bottom end? I suspect not, but it's quite a shiny thing.
Chris.
