Get this thing to Norway! Name the price! A left hand drive S with low miles.. Oh dear, I want it! What to do? Get on a plane with a displacer and a battery? Seriously, I'd give my left arm for this car! Tommy www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C349063#

I've seen that - no itching here, as we've got a similar example. But the S drives so much better than the standard car - you'll love it. Apart from all the trouble setting up not one, but two slightly leaking carbs It may not need a new displacer, it may just need a pump up. All in all - is a left arm more expensive than hitching a trailer all the way to Portugal for a nice x-mas holiday?? Alexander

E- mail sent to seller, shipping arrangements being checked... There are actually several departures from Portugal to Norway every week. At a prize I guess.. Yes, I'm crazy..
I doubt this dream will ever be realised, but I just have to check it out:-)

A quick update on this one! I got a kind email from the seller. He had just sold the car locally, to an enthusiast I hope.
It did in deed sound like it was in very good condition. It had been a demo car at a local Austin dealer, then owned by his father. Running perfectly when put away some years ago.
One lucky new Landcrab owner in Portugal, I think. Hopefully he'll find this forum:-)
Well, some money saved there...
Regards, Tommy:-)

Shame! Just when you've got the timing chain issue resolved. You need new challenges for 2013. Have a great Xmas and best wishes for the New Year to you and all the forum members. I still find it strange celebrating in the heat this time of year. David A quick update on this one! I got a kind email from the seller. He had just sold the car locally, to an enthusiast I hope.
