This 1974 Wolseley Six Auto has been off the road for at least 20 years. The chassis was stripped down and partly restored by a previous owner, and generally seems moderately sound, so it should be a viable restoration project for someone with more time to spare than me.
Unfortunately the original engine and transmission are missing, but there is an incomplete donor engine, and another crankcase, block, cylinder head and cam carrier among the parts. The fuel tank also seems to have been damaged when it was last moved.
When it comes to parts, there is an absolute treasure trove. As well as supposedly just about everything that came off the original car, there are many parts from 2 other donor cars as well. The car is completely packed full of parts, many bagged and tagged, and there are additional boxes full of stuff. Notable items include 2 spare wooden dash boards and instrument panels, Hydrolastic displacers, PAS rack, radiators, bumpers, glass screens and lots of mechanical, electrical and trim parts. There's far too much to list, and to be honest I've never been able to sort through it all.
The whole lot needs to find a new home very soon. I don't want to split the parts. It will need to be collected from Brighton. The chassis rolls but will need to be hauled up a narrow drive to the road.
Please PM or email if interested.
Paul.
